GANGSTA 1989 is an experimental exploration of sounds from — and inspired by — the late ’70s, ’80s, and ’90s. Blending modern infusions, the project is one of a kind in how it breaks the boundaries of what it means to be a Zambian musician in the country’s non-mainstream music scene. 

Written, composed and performed by Chansa Chisha (Sunshine), the album features features 11 songs and is set for release August 28th, 2025.
